On Tuesday, November 3rd, voters in Pennsylvania's 158th House District face a clear choice for the future of our communities.
Tina Ayala is a constitutional conservative who believes government should serve the people, not special interests. She's running to bring common sense, fiscal responsibility, and principled leadership to Harrisburg.
Under incumbent Democrat Christina Sappey, many residents feel our district has drifted from the values and priorities of local families and taxpayers:
➤ Pennsylvania has some of the highest gas taxes and worst roads in the nation, and Sappey won't fight the gas tax slush fund — she even backs a new 95-cent tax on every Lyft or Uber ride. ➤ Sappey won't push real structural property tax reform — just token rebates, while seniors are left with bills that demand actual relief. ➤ Sappey voted to keep school curriculum and COVID data secret from parents and the public. ➤ She voted against protecting girls' sports and against letting schools hire their own security guards. ➤ Sappey opposes immigration enforcement that prioritizes legal immigration and removal of criminals and gangs.
As your State Representative, Tina Ayala will:
Fight high taxes and wasteful spending, including the gas tax burden on working families
Push for real, structural property tax relief — not token rebates
Vote for transparency, always — never secrecy
Defend girls' sports, support school security, and prioritize legal immigration
Protect taxpayers through responsible spending
Support law enforcement and public safety
Defend parents' rights and educational excellence
Protect our constitutional freedoms
Encourage economic growth and opportunity for PA families and small businesses
